Ready for something different?

Roanoke Valley Medical Missions is hosting its second Gamesteak Charity Dinner, to raise money for the organization's medicines, medical supplies, and to enable us to lend support to our partner organization, HALO Guatemala.

What is a Beefsteak Dinner Banquet?

A beefsteak is a type of banquet event that originated among the New York working class in the 19th century.  Traditionally, it involves serving beef tenderloin along with bread and a buttery dipping sauce.  Roanoke Valley hunters have graciously agreed to provide meat harvested from our very own Virginia forests,  so we're putting an Appalachian twist on this delicious tradition by throwing a Gamesteak banquet!

The Deets.
